Yes absolutely. In fact, I strongly advise it! Transporting a wedding cake isn’t for the faint-hearted and it’s not something that you will really want to be concerned with on your wedding day. I will deliver your cake at a pre-agreed time and will often stack and finish the cake in situ depending on the design and size.
Delivery is charged at 50p per mile (return) from my kitchen in Buckingham, MK18.

I will of course advise this during your consultation but please do head to my blog post, which gives you some things to consider when deciding on the size of cake you need.
-
Yes, and at no extra charge. It’s sometimes a good idea to provide a range of flavours to suit your guests’ different tastes.
You may even want to choose your favourite flavour for your top tier to take home and enjoy after your wedding with a glass of champagne!
-
It starts with your consultation, during which we’ll discuss your wedding plans, styling and most importantly, you. My aim is to build a picture of what you’re about as a couple and what your preferred style is like. I will tease information and inspiration from you so that I can create something personal to you.
It’s also my job to inspire you. Most couples are totally new to the concept of wedding planning, not least what the possibilities are in the realm of wedding cakes, so I will also propose some ideas. After your consultation I will sketch up a digital design for your consideration, which can be revised until you’re completely happy.
-
Yes of course. We can amend your design right up until 8 weeks before your wedding. If there are substantial changes to the size and/or level of decoration then I will recalculate the final cost to reflect those changes.
-
Your cake will be made fresh the week leading up to your wedding. Depending on the size and intricacy of your wedding cake design, it can take around 3 days to complete. In addition to this, I will often start making wafer paper florals well in advance of this.
-
I have a selection of cake stands for hire at a fee of £20 per stand plus a security deposit of £80, which is refunded upon safe return of the stand within 7 days of your wedding. I will normally discuss the presentation of your cake during your consultation so happy to give you some ideas on how to display your cake for the best impact.
Unfortunately I don’t provide a cake knife but your venue or caterer will normally have one available so please check with them directly.
-
To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of £200 is required and the remaining balance is then due 8 weeks before your wedding day.
Payments are accepted by bank transfer.
